Before you send an information request by email
The problem might occur that due to a missing part number we cannot work out an answer to your email. That is why it is necessary to make sure before sending an email to us what product your email is all about. Yet, a part number is not required in all cases of problems.
Please, use the DIGITUS® web site. There you can find a list of all products. You may use this list to comfortably search for your product.
The only thing our answers refer to are the questions posed in the emails. Our answer emails are based on information available to us. Problems and solutions might depend on properties of your operating system or on various other factors not known to members of the DIGITUS® team. DIGITUS® cannot assume liablility for this. Technical information might change due to newly acquired information.
Please also note that due to reasons of security we do not receive file attachments, except we explicitly ask you to send us file attachment(s) in a separate email.
Please, do not send us serial numbers of any kinds of software you use, for this is not required to fix your problem. What is required, however, is the part number or the EAN number.
In many cases a problem can also be solved without the help of the DIGITUS® support team. To give you an example, search engines may help you fix general problems with your operating system in an effective and quick manner.
Quite often, and even too often we receive information requests concerning drivers which are already available in the download section of our website. Thus, these kinds of driver questions will be given a lower priority.

- The DIGITUS® team does not offer training concerning the use of operating systems! Thus, we assume that you already have a fundamental knowledge about your operating system!

If your question covers aspects BEFORE buying a certain product, or if your question is not directly related to a product, please use the following link:
- This system exists exclusively in order to answer information requests concerning products. Yet, this service does not include technical support questions.
- Questions concerning aspects of technical support ("after you have bought a product") will be ignored if you use this way to contact us.

DIGITUS® offers email support to end users.
We kindly ask ASSMANN or DIGITUS® business clients to turn directly to their contact partner in the sales department or to use the email form as well.
Types of emails excluded from support
The following types of emails cannot be processed:
- emails avoiding the form which can be filled out on our web site (except answers to information requests by members of our support team)
- emails forwarded by other Assmann/DIGITUS® employees
- emails directed to the webmaster of the DIGITUS® website
- information requests sent via our feedback system concerning aspects of support
